Morning at Senso-ji

This photo was taken on my fifth trip to Japan, standing beneath the iconic pagoda at Senso-ji Temple in Tokyo.
The red layers of the temple stacked perfectly against the morning sky. For a moment everything aligned. Light, colour, architecture, timing… and maybe a little bit of luck.
When I shared this image online, it became the first photograph of mine to truly travel beyond my own circle. It was the first time strangers connected with something I had created and the first time I experienced people becoming fans of my work.
In many ways, this photo marks the beginning of Summit Saga.
Not just a moment in Tokyo, but the start of a journey that has since taken me across the world.
Each canvas print is produced on a 1.25″ stretched pine frame and arrives ready to hang. Soft rubber dots are placed on the back to protect your walls and keep the print sitting straight and steady.
