I took this photo the day after climbing Mount Yotei with my dad and Jarrod (one of the Summit Saga crew). Reaching the summit together was one of the top experiences of my life.
At 1,898 metres, Yotei dominates the landscape of Hokkaido, rising out of the valley almost perfectly symmetrical. Locals call it Ezo Fuji, meaning “Fuji of the North,” and once you see it in person you understand why.
It’s hard to describe the scale of this mountain as it completely dominates the landscape, but I feel like this photo gets pretty close.
Each canvas print is produced on a 1.25″ stretched pine frame and arrives ready to hang. Soft rubber dots are placed on the back to protect your walls and keep the print sitting straight and steady.
